The most difficult step in creating this card was choosing which metallic card stock to use! Seriously, incredibly easy with beautiful results. I used Altenew’s Beautiful Bergenia 3D embossing folder, 80# Neenah Solar White card stock, the Simon Says Stamp Scripty Big Hugs die, and my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. Put it all together with tape and glue… BOOM a beautiful card for any occasion.
You could use any embossing folder to do this technique but I think the 3D folders really make the metallic card stock pop. The only tip I have is to make sure you line up both the metallic and the white card stock kinda-sorta in the same place in the embossing folder. You’ll have less trimming and fiddling to do to get it matched up. 😊 For this card I also used the Itty Bitty Basics stamp set from My Favorite Things along with the coordinated die set to cut out the sentiment strip.
Special tools I recommend for this project would be: the MISTI stamp platform, a guillotine paper trimmer, and Bearly Art precision craft glue w/tip kit.
