Summer Christmas Projects | Kaleidoscope Argyle

This is the last project, for real this time, in my Summer Christmas Projects Series. I will be doing a 12 Days of Christmas Series again this fall so stay tuned for that. ☺️ You can watch the process video below by clicking the green button if you’d like.

I used the Spellbinders die set named Kaleidoscope Argyle from the Christmas Slimline Collection along with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 manual die cutting machine. I decided to make standard A2 cards instead of the slimline and I’m in love with how graphic these projects turned out!

Making Christmas cards is a great excuse to get out all the glitter and shiny things, (as if I needed an excuse 😜) so I grabbed my favorite Craft Perfect card stock packs to cut out these kaleidoscope shapes. I used Gold Hearted, Green Valley , and Ruby Romance.

These cards were finished with red glitter embossing powder on white and white embossing powder on black sentiments from a Simon Says Stamp set from last year called Joy for You. I then added some gold pearls to the one with the shiny card stock. The glittery one was pretty fantastic all on it’s own… so no bling for that one. ☺️

Have a wonderful day and thanks for hanging out with me! 😘

Also, if you visit a store and what you want is out of stock, be sure and ask to be notified by email when the item is back in stock. It’s usually quite quick and always worth the wait. 😉

Remember, if mailing a card with layers and embellishments in the United States, be sure and buy “non-machinable” postage so your cards don’t get smooshed in the USPS postal machines.
