Summer Christmas Projects – Card #2 | Create a Christmas Sentiment

Here’s the second card in my Summer Christmas Projects series. I once again used the Bottle Brush Trees die set from the Tis the Season Collection with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine. Plus I added a pretty metallic gold sentiment from the Create A Christmas Sentiment die set. I die cut three additional sentiments from Kraft card stock and glued them together with the gold to give it dimension. The framing panel with the little dots is a die from the Essential Rectangles die set. I love how the color shows through the openings. ❀️

In addition to the bases of the tress, the Bottle Brush Trees die set also comes with dies for the little round ornaments and stars. I cut those out of the gold foil and scattered them around like I would if they were sequin embellishments. I think these elements would also look super cute die cut from glitter card stock. 🌟

Have a wonderful day and thanks for hanging out with me! 😘

Also, if you visit a store and what you want is out of stock, be sure and ask to be notified by email when the item is back in stock. It’s usually quite quick and always worth the wait. πŸ˜‰

Remember, if mailing a card with layers and embellishments in the United States, be sure and buy “non-machinable” postage so your cards don’t get smooshed in the USPS postal machines.
